Web site design case study
The Department of Trade & Industry (DTI) - Electronics Design Programme Team originally contracted designbase to provide a "Web Site on a CD" in April 1999. As a reflection of its success within the programme the v2 release in May 2000 features updates and additions.
The CD provided managers and electronics engineers with a multimedia startup sequence, a searchable company database and web-style reproduction of technical guides. The 10,000+ links and JavaScript Database provided a welcome challenge using the technologies that existed at the time!
